I have been bass fishing competitively for 15+ years and while I still get by...I feel like I am going to fall behind without using livescope in my area. It seems like majority of my area is behind, maybe because its such a shallow water northern fishery. I have watched multiple Bass University seminars on shallow water scoping and think even the locals who use scope are leaving meat on the bone in shallow water. So... do I really need to make the investment? Will it fade out in the next few years? I am not for or against it mainly because I havent used it a ton. I have seen its power offshore fishing but it still has not made me want to spend the money. Let me know everyones thoughts! Tight lines.

I think it really comes down to your style of fishing and the bodies of water you compete on. LiveScope is definitely a valuable tool, even in shallow water, but that doesn't mean you can't continue to be successful without it. If you're on the fence, I'd recommend spending a day on the water with someone who knows how to use it effectively in your area before making the investment. You might be surprised by what you're missing, or you might find that your current approach is still getting the job done!
